A new customer called because their heat wasn't working
Solution
A new customer called because their heat wasn't working properly. The customer had an Amana furnace. There are many reasons as to why a furnace wouldn't be heating properly. The first thing our technicians do is check for the error code. The error code in this case was "Heat Limit Switch." This error code means that the furnace is over heating. Usually a furnace overheats because air is being trapped inside and cannot escape properly. This can be caused by a dirty filter, an old blower motor, a dirty evaporator coil or a few other things. This customer simply had dirty filter which was promptly cleaned and replaced by our technician!
